Senior Process Engineer |

Grimley Smith Associates is an independent multi-disciplined engineering consultancy providing comprehensive engineering technical support, design, and project management services to the Energy, Oil & Gas and Chemical & Process Industries worldwide. We are currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer to enhance our existing Process Engineering capabilities. Key responsibilities will include:
We are a looking for candidates with a degree in Chemical or Process Engineering, ideally Chartered with IChemE. You must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and Process Simulation Software (such as HYSYS). Good leadership, communication and people skills are essential as the work will include giving presentations to clients at board level. The main interface with clients is via formal reports and you would be expected to produce these in a professional and timely manner. You will also act as an interface with clients to generate new work; including the production of formal proposals. Our purpose built offices are based in Brigg North Lincolnshire; but you would also be required to work at client sites depending upon the nature of the project. Sector experience: Oil & Gas, Energy. We are currently seeking a Process Safety Engineer to enhance our existing Process Safety Department. The role will be to advise clients on all aspects of Process Safety - adding your experience to GSA's depth of knowledge that includes: COMAH, DSEAR, SIL, EP Permits, Occupied Buildings, Relief and Vent Calculations, Fire Safety, Flare Studies, Process and Project Risk Assessments. Good communication and people skills are essential as the work will include giving presentations to clients at board level as well as leading hazard and risk studies involving all levels within an organisation. The main interface with clients is via formal reports and you would be expected to produce these in a professional and timely manner. You will also act as an interface with clients to generate new work; including the production of formal proposals.
