-
Martyn is a Chartered Gas Engineer with over 25 years experience in the project management, construction management, and maintenance of Oil & Gas process plants and pipelines. Originally from Leeds, Martyn started his career with British Gas as graduate engineer working his way up to the position of Project Manager. Following 19 years of service for BG, and after 2 years as Project Services Manager building the Hannibal Gas Plant in Tunisia, Martyn left to develop his career with engineering contracting companies. Martyn went on to work for Delta Catalytic and Jacobs, also holding various Directorship roles at Aker Kvaerner and Fabricom-Suez before joining GSA early in 2007.
At GSA Martyn now manages the project services division, including the proposals and tendering process for new projects, recruitment and resource coordination, plus the project planning, controls, and reporting functions.
Outside of work he likes to walk and mess about with boats, but seems to spend most of his spare time fixing his children's cars and computers.
