Stephen Groves - Process Safety Manager

Originally from Essex, Stephen studied Chemical Engineering and Management Economics at Bradford University, West Yorkshire. After graduating, Stephen worked for Yorkshire Chemicals as a Process Engineer, moving through Energy Management into Project Engineering. Stephen then worked for the technical department at Synthetic Chemicals, Knottingley (a subsidiary of Shell), where he achieved Chartership with the Institute of Chemical Engineers, duly progressing to Senior Chemical Engineer. At this time Stephen was Lead Engineer for the Basic Engineering stage of site projects as well as providing technical support for the site's operational team. In the 1990's Stephen specialised in Process Safety.
Joining GSA in 2007, Stephen has brought with him over ten years of Process Safety experience to enhance GSA's Process Safety Services.
